MURILLO's 18th founding anniversary November 14, 2011
In celebration of MURILLO's 18th founding anniversary and to thank all the members of the MURILLO team for the their contribution and good work over the past years; the founder, managing director and chief designer, Allan Murillo took the team to a beach in Mactan yesterday, Sunday, November 13, 2011. He chose to ride his road bike together with his MURILLO bike buddies to get to the 40-kilometer plus destination.

Murillo celebrates its 18th founding anniversary today, Saturday, November 12, 2011. The founder, managing director and chief designer, Allan Murillo designed 3 t-shirt concepts especially for this momentous occasion that highlighted the company's achievements from its humble beginning back in the early 90's. Today as they celebrate their first 18 years, they aim for another 18 years of high-quality designing and manufacturing of furniture, home furnishings and also the making of unique artworks that makes MURILLO a very respectable brand in the industry over the years.

MURILLO takes part of the M.I.C.E (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions/Events) Conference (MICECON) 2011 at the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) on August 10-13, 2011.
MURILLO provides the furniture pieces and accessories in the VIP / Speakers' Lounge located within the Plenary Hall.

Four third year BS Interior Design Students of the University of the Philippines Diliman May 16-24, 2011
Four third year BS Interior Design Students of the University of the Philippines Diliman will spend their week with MURILLO for their on the job training (OJT) requirement for their course. The students under the guidance of the founder and designer Allan Murillo will be exposed to different processes involved in the designing and manufacturing of furniture and home accessories. Christopher Murillo, creative director/artist, on the other hand will tour the students in his studio and show his artworks.
As practiced in the past, MURILLO always open it doors to selected students who want to be exposed to furniture designs and the different skills involved in making them.
This is in a hope to spark desire to a new generation of furniture designers and makers that could help take the industry to the next levels in the future. -

MURILLO will be at the launching of the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers - Cebu Chapter (PIID-Cebu) PIID - Cebu DIRECTORY + SOURCEBOOK 2011 at SM Cebu's Art Center from March 6-19, 2011.The Philippine Institute of Interior Designers - Cebu Chapter (PIID-Cebu), is the only accredited professional organization for interior designers in Cebu and by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) of the Philippine government.
MURILLO items on display during the event are Infinity 2-seater (Mugna Award Winner - Best Furniture Design during the Cebu International Furniture Exhibition 2008-CEBU X), Siesta Side Chair, Circus Center table, Triniti Side table and Tooth stool.
